with the premiere »jeux«, cie. toula limnaios opens a poetic reflection on innocence and oblivion, on the very concept of time and childhood. inspired by philosophical thoughts and insights ranging from plato and nietzsche to bergson, the new production unfolds in a series of tableaux vivants—a »narrated time« in which images interlace, merge, and dissolve.

how do we perceive time, what is timeless, and what does »duration« mean in an ever-changing world faced with the finitude of human existence? amidst this tangle of thoughts and questions, »jeux« stands as an imaginative experiment and a plea for meaningful creativity—the creative, the playful, and the positive potential of humanity to transform the world… and it all begins in play.
